It covers personal information, driver and vehicle documents, and financial details provided for onboarding, verification, payouts, and secure platform operations.

CabChalak collects information you provide directly and data generated when you use the Platform.
2.1 Registration & Profile Information
During signup or profile creation, the Platform may collect:
- Full name
- Mobile number
- Email address
- Agency / company name (where applicable)
- City / operating area
- Profile photograph
- Login credentials (stored in encrypted form)
2.2 Driver & Vehicle Details
To enable booking posting and fulfilment, the Platform may collect:
- Driving licence number and copy
- Vehicle registration certificate (RC) number and copy
- Vehicle details (make, model, registration number, colour, etc.)
- Vehicle photographs
2.3 Transaction & Usage Information
For commission processing and platform security, CabChalak may collect:
- Bank account details and UPI IDs for payouts
- Razorpay transaction IDs, payment status, timestamps, and logs
- Commission transaction details between Drivers and Agents
- Booking IDs, acceptance logs, and basic trip metadata (such as pickup and drop city, where applicable)
2.4 Device & Technical Information
To improve security and performance, CabChalak may automatically collect:
- Device type, operating system, and app version
- IP address and browser type (for web access)
- Log data, crash reports, and usage patterns
- Cookies or similar technologies, where used on the website or app
3. How CabChalak Uses Your Data
Your information is used only for legitimate purposes related to operating and improving the Platform, including:
- Creating and managing user accounts and profiles
- Verifying user identity and validating driver and vehicle documents
- Facilitating commission payments, refunds, and payouts through integrated payment gateways
- Monitoring and preventing fraud, fake bookings, and misuse
- Resolving disputes related to bookings or commission transactions
- Securing and improving the Platform, including diagnostics, analytics, and support
- Sending transactional notifications about bookings, payouts, verifications, and important updates
CabChalak does not sell or rent your personal data to third parties for unrelated marketing purposes.
4. Legal Basis & Consent
By registering on or using CabChalak, you:

Access to sensitive information is limited to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis. CabChalak does not publicly display bank account numbers, full payment details, or other sensitive identifiers.

These may include encrypted transmission where appropriate, access controls, secure storage, and ongoing monitoring for suspicious activity.
